“The Robe tradition symbolizes a great wealth of theatre history and rite of passage. It reminds me of the many people who have come before me and what they did to further our community; it’s a wonderful honor to have. During the ceremony I was excited and proud, and what I remember most are the happy faces of all of our Broadway newbies making their debuts.”

How I Got My Equity Card: “I got my Equity card when I joined the company of The Lion King. My best friend at the time said that they (the production) were looking for an "acro-dancer" replacement, and that I would be great in the role. So I went to the open call not really knowing what to expect. After a full morning/afternoon of auditioning, I received a call and offer later that evening. It was my first BIG break in Broadway theatre!”
