One of the foremost concerns of the union is guaranteeing our members have safe and sanitary conditions of employment. Each Equity Agreement includes specific provisions detailing the obligations of Producers to provide safe and sanitary working conditions.
Note: In addition to the safe and sanitary provisions in Equity agreements, the International Federation of Actors (FIA) has posted minimum recommended health and safety guidance when working in live shows. The FIA is a global federation of performers’ trade unions, guilds and professional associations, and Equity is a member. This document is called Actsafe: recommended health and safety guidelines - Live Shows.
