Western Code
The Bay Area Project Policy (BAPP) Code is an internal union membership rule that permits Equity members to work without the benefit of a contract in theatrical productions in the nine San Francisco Bay Area Counties in theaters of 99 seats or fewer. These productions have limited budgets and a limited number of performances.
The BAPP Code was most recently updated in June, 2008.
Members can view the Bay Area Project Policy Code in the Document Library on the member portal.
Producers with questions about the Bay Area Project Policy can email contracts@actorsequity.org or call the Western Region Office at 323-978-8080.
