National Agreement
The Outdoor Drama Agreement is used for outdoor spectacles and community-based historical dramas (e.g., Tecumseh). The agreement requires a minimum of four Equity contracts including the stage manager; the majority of these very large casts is comprised of apprentices and community residents. Conditions are generally rustic and the roles are physically demanding, including activities such as stunts, horseback riding and use of firearms.
Members can view the Outdoor Drama Rulebook (2007) in the Rulebook Library in the Member Portal.
Producers with questions about the Outdoor Drama Agreement should contact their closest Equity regional office.
